Celebrate the Wins

Welcome to 2023!   

As we hit the ground running in the new year, it’s a great time to reflect on all we accomplished in 2022. Sometimes we’re so focused on the new opportunities and moving forward that we forget to recognize all we’ve achieved and celebrate those wins. That’s a problem I have, and sometimes at Service Express, we catch ourselves not stopping, reflecting or celebrating enough.   

One of the great things about being a part of Service Express is there are so many accomplishments year after year. At the same time, there’s always so much more to do. That’s what drives us, and a major reason I like it here so much. I love always having challenges, and I expect 2023 to bring plenty of challenges and opportunities. In the meantime, we must stop and reflect on all we’ve accomplished in 2022.   

Every year in January, I provide a state of the company update. When I do that, I reflect on everything we’ve accomplished. You accomplish so much more in a year than you think you can. You’ll look back and forget some of the things you did in the first or second quarter. Remember when you built momentum, overcame challenges, and impacted your teams and customers.  

We’re going to reflect here at Service Express, and I encourage you all to do the same! Start by reflecting on what was accomplished in 2022. Think about your goals for 2023 and all the opportunities in the year ahead. Then picture yourself in 2024 and think about the accomplishments you hope to reflect on from 2023. Those will be your priorities for this year.  

I love this time of year; it’s a great time to reflect! The holidays were amazing, but they’re done now; it’s time to reset, refocus and get back on the grind. Embrace the process, and let’s get a lot of things done in 2023!
