New Year, New Goals

Happy New Year, everyone, and welcome to 2025!  

In my last blog, Time to Reflect, we talked about using the slower period between Christmas and the new year to reflect on the past year. Look back at what worked, what you accomplished, what didn’t work and what you didn’t accomplish. Ask yourself why and whether those things still matter in 2025. Hopefully, many of you took the time to do this. I know I have.  

Now, it’s time to set our goals for 2025 and get them on paper. Think about what you want to achieve this year. What’s the timeline? Break it down by the first, second, third and fourth quarters. This will help you set short-term and long-term goals for the year.  

What will it take to achieve those goals? How do you need to organize your work life and personal life? Where should your focus and priorities be to ensure you get off to a fast start and follow through to accomplish those goals?  

These are the questions I’m asking myself, and I encourage everyone to do the same. Goal setting is a big part of our culture at Service Express; I strongly believe in it and encourage all of you to do the same.
