Current Podcast Recommendations

by | Apr 24, 2025 | Leadership

In my last blog, Tips for Microlearning, I talked about using book summaries as a way to support my professional development. I pair that with finding the author on a podcast, where I can hear them explain the key points from their book. I find this approach really helpful and useful.

As I’ve shared this with others, I’m often asked what podcasts I recommend. So here are four podcasts I’m currently spending the most time with and finding very valuable:

  1. How Leaders Lead with David Novak. I recently discovered this one. He had Jamie Dimon on as a guest, and I thought that interview was outstanding. I’m planning to do a deeper dive into more of this podcast.
  1. The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett. Great topics and guests. I’ve done a book summary on it and also listened to Steven on other podcasts. His show offers powerful learning and insights.
  1. Prof G Markets with Scott Galloway Scott Galloway is a professor at NYU and goes by “Prof G.” He has great guests and shares insights about business, markets and current trends. I’ve enjoyed this one a lot over the past few years.
  1. Rich Roll Podcast. Rich Roll is an ultramarathoner turned podcaster. He brings on a wide range of guests—not just athletes. He often dives deep into their stories, and I find those conversations really inspiring.

Now I’d love to hear from you—what are your favorite podcast recommendations? What do you enjoy listening to right now? Please share them with me so I can keep learning and growing.
