Patience and Bo Schembechler’s Wisdom

by | Apr 5, 2018 | Leadership, Video

Sometimes there appears to be a thin line between motivated and impatient. We want driven and hard-charging people here at Service Express; people who are motivated day after day and working hard to get results. What we don’t want is people who are so impatient that they get frustrated when they don’t see results right away.

As leaders, we of course want to see the results we are working towards sooner than later. But we must learn to “hurry up and wait” sometimes; being patient during the inevitable “ramp-up” time that we often see.

A strong leader must have the strength and perseverance to work through challenging times.  Check out this video to find out how Bo Schembechler’s words have inspired me and to hear some key insight about meeting jerks!
